Arrest Made Following Assault and Threat Incident

Yardley, PA – On Monday, Yardley Police and Lower Makefield Police responded to a report of a violent incident on E. Afton Av. involving a weapon being brandished. The suspect, an 81-year-old man from Lower Makefield, was arrested on Taylorsville Rd after a vehicle stop and investigation, which resulted in the recovery of the weapon.

The individual was processed, charged, and subsequently released following the altercation. The charges include Terroristic Threats, Possessing Instruments of a Crime, Simple Assault, and Reckless Endangerment. The case is expected to proceed to court for further action.
