Arrest Made in Connection to July 2022 Bronx Assault Case

BRONX, NY – In an update to a previously reported case, the New York City Police Department has made an arrest. The assault took place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in front of 3386 Boston Road

. An unidentified individual fired multiple shots at a 34-year-old male, striking him several times in the legs.

Jeremy Wiggins, a 32-year-old male from 3457 Eastchester Road, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, in relation to the case.

The charges include Attempted Murder and Assault. The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition, while the perpetrator fled the scene on foot.
