Arrest Made in D.C. Shooting: 20-Year-Old Faces Charges

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon in the 3100 block of 14th Street, Northwest D.C.

The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. when the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Travone Henderson from Southeast D.C., allegedly opened fire, injuring two individuals. Following the shooting, Henderson reportedly fled the scene. The victims were quickly taken to a local hospital, where they received treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries.

Henderson turned himself in on Wednesday. He has been arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
