Arrest Made in Frederica Theft and Forgery Case

**Dover, DE** – Delaware State Police arrested 30-year-old Kaitlyn Maynard, of Frederica, Delaware, for felony theft and forgery charges. The arrest followed an incident on Cooper Road where money and checks were reported stolen, leading to the identification of Maynard as the suspect who attempted to cash a forged check at a local bank.

Maynard turned herself in at Troop 3, where she was charged with theft under $1,500 where a victim is over 62, attempted theft under $1,500 where a victim is over 62, and forgery 2nd Degree – all felonies. She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on a $6,000 unsecured bond.
