Arrest Made in Hillside Elementary School Armed Robbery Case

NEW CUMBERLAND, PA – An update has been provided in the armed robbery case that occurred on October 15 at the new basketball courts of Hillside Elementary School.

Jeffrey M. Beck Jr., a 19-year-old individual with no permanent address, was arrested on Sunday for armed robbery and related offenses.

The bail for Beck was set at $99,000 by MDJ Jonathan R. Birbeck, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled before MDJ Delozier on November 30.

The New Cumberland Police Department maintain that this was not a random incident

The investigation is ongoing.
