Arrest Made in Stolen Vehicle Case in Brooklyn Park

Brooklyn Park, MD -Law enforcement officers in the Northern District made an arrest related to a stolen vehicle case. The incident occurred early on Tuesday when a 2011 Honda CR-V was stopped for having missing tags at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn.

During the investigation, officers discovered the driver, 22-year-old Walder Perdomo-Barnica from Glen Burnie, Maryland, had outstanding warrants. Additionally, authorities confirmed that the vehicle he was driving had previously been reported as stolen. The tags on the Honda CR-V were also confirmed to be stolen.

Officers swiftly took Perdomo-Barnica into custody without incident. The police department commended the Northern District officers for their effective response.

The case, involving the recovered stolen vehicle and the arrest of Perdomo-Barnica, is currently under investigation, according to officials.
