Cape May County, NJ – Cape May County authorities announced the arrest of Michael J. Lupacckino from Wildwood Crest in relation to sexual assault allegations. The joint investigation was carried out by the Wildwood Crest Police Department Detective Division and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Victims Unit.
On Monday, the Wildwood Crest Police Department received information about Lupacckino’s alleged involvement in multiple sexual assault incidents that commenced in October. Consequently, this led to the initiation of a combined investigative effort.
Investigations involved witness statements, forensic evidence, and search warrants at Lupacckino’s residence, culminating in charges including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Lupacckino is currently detained at the Cape May County Correctional Facility as legal proceedings continue.
Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland remarked on the cooperation between local law enforcement departments and the ongoing efforts to ensure community safety.
