WILKES-BARRE, PA — A domestic dispute escalated into an assault on Madison Street at 9:12 AM Saturday, resulting in charges against a local man.

The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department reported responding to a call at a residence where a 34-year-old woman accused Christian Santillo, 33, also from Wilkes-Barre, of striking her in the face during a verbal altercation. The victim chose not to receive medical attention at the scene.

Santillo was subsequently charged in connection with the incident. Further details regarding the nature of the charges or any upcoming legal proceedings have not been disclosed. The investigation continues as authorities handle the aftermath of the reported assault.
