Assault Investigation Leads to Arrest of Utica Man

Utica, NY – Utica Police officers responded to an assault investigation at Wynn Hospital on February 15th. The victim, a male, was treated for injuries sustained from multiple head strikes with a wooden object.

The victim reported being struck several times in the head during an argument at an apartment on Hillcrest Ave, resulting in a serious laceration. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, a suspect was identified.

Joshua Jackson, a 20-year-old from Utica, was arrested on May 7th for assault in the second degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree.
