BROOKLYN, MD – On the evening of Monday, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault in the 200 block of Franklin Avenue. The victim reportedly owed money to the two suspects, a male and a female, who attacked him with a baseball bat and an expandable baton.

The suspects, identified as Richard Leon Eaton, a 55-year-old from Baltimore, and Terri Lynn Sanders, a 60-year-old from Pasadena, were later found and apprehended at a hotel on Belle Grove Road. A search of their room resulted in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine, suspected heroin/fentanyl, a substantial amount of cash, digital scales, and packaging material. The weapons used in the assault were recovered from Eaton’s vehicle.
