Police arrest suspect for drive-by shooting using water-gel gun

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Yesterday, at approximately 7:00 p.m., detectives on routine patrol in the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Eastern Street in Glen Burnie observed an assault involving the occupants of a black Nissan sedan. The suspects appeared to be shooting water/gel beads from replica/toy firearms at random citizens. Upon making contact with the occupants, detectives discovered a loaded black semi-automatic handgun in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Nobody was injured during the incident.

During the investigation, one occupant of the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Jawaun Donya Wilson of Dundalk, Maryland, claimed ownership of the firearm. Wilson was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward.
