Atlantic City Police Investigate Alleged Suspicious Vehicle

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department is investigating claims of a suspicious vehicle that surfaced on social media. On Tuesday, patrol officers received a report from a community member who believed a man was attempting to lure a juvenile into his vehicle.

The incident was initially handled by patrol officers and subsequently transferred to the Criminal Investigations Section. However, no juveniles or their parents have come forward to report any criminal activity.

On Wednesday, the driver contacted detectives after becoming aware of the social media discussions. He agreed to an interview with the authorities. Currently, no criminal charges are pending against the driver.

Additionally, other reports of potential interactions with this driver circulated on social media and were determined to be false. According to the police department’s findings, the incidents mentioned did not occur.
