Atlantic City Police Officers Jump in Frigid Water to Rescue Dog

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On February 19, 2022, Atlantic City Police Department Officers Cynthia Rongione and Michael Oldroyd entered frigid bay waters to rescue a dog that was in distress after being notified by a concerned citizen. The rescue was successful. The dog was transported to the The Humane Society of Atlantic County for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
