Attempted Armored Truck Robberies End in Arrest

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – On Monday, an attempted robbery of two armored on trucks resulted in two suspects being shot multiple times and one taken into custody. The Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the incident at 3500 block of East-West Highway near the mall.

The suspects, after allegedly robbing a Brinks truck at the 9900 block of Greenbelt Road, drove to East-West Highway to attempt another heist. There, they were confronted, resulting in two suspects suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation continues as the police department collects further evidence.
