Attempted Car-Jacking in East Lansdowne Leads to Two Arrests

EAST LANSDOWNE, PA – In the early hours of Sunday, the East Lansdowne Police Department responded to an armed car-jacking report on Wildwood Ave.

The victim, a food delivery driver, claimed he was approached by a man and a woman who attempted to seize his vehicle.

The female suspect reportedly maced the victim when he resisted. Thanks to footage from the victim’s dashboard camera, Officer Stephen Mengini was able to obtain descriptions of both suspects.

Subsequent investigations led to the arrest of the duo, who were charged with attempted robbery, assault, and related offenses.

Unable to post bail, both suspects are currently held at the George W. Hill Delaware County correctional facility.
