Attempted Robbery in Glen Burnie, Suspects Sought by Police

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred on August 26, 2024, in the 7800 block of Park West Drive in Glen Burnie.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a report that a citizen had been targeted in an attempted robbery after arranging to purchase an item through an e-commerce app.

Upon arriving at the agreed location, the victim was approached by two unknown males. One of the suspects entered the victim’s vehicle on the passenger side, displayed a handgun, and attempted to rob him.

The victim managed to exit the vehicle and flee on foot, while both suspects escaped in a blue sedan with tinted windows. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1: A Black male, approximately 5’9” tall, with a thin build, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, wearing all-black clothing.
  • Suspect 2: A Black male, approximately 5’6” tall, with a thin build, estimated to be between 16 and 20 years old, wearing a blue shirt and black pants.
