Robbery suspect flees into Union Station Metro after Massachusetts Avenue incident

WASHINGTON, DC – A robbery near Massachusetts Avenue NE sent police racing to Union Station Monday evening after the suspect bolted into the busy transit hub, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, NE. Investigators said the suspect is described as a tall white male, bald, wearing black glasses, a gray shirt, and dark pants.

He was last seen running into Union Station Metro following the robbery. No additional details about the victim or what was taken have been released.
