Man shot on Reisterstown Road as Northwest detectives launch probe

BALTIMORE, MD – A 40-year-old man was hospitalized late Sunday night after gunfire erupted along a stretch of Reisterstown Road, prompting a shooting investigation in the city’s Northwest District.

Patrol officers were dispatched around 10:45 p.m. to the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located a 40-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not been updated.

Northwest District detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No suspect information has been released.
