Baltimore Carjacking Suspect Arrested with Stolen Firearm

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore Police, with the Regional Auto Theft Task Force (RATT), arrested a 24-year-old male suspect for carjacking and auto theft in the Northwest District on December 19.

Around 10:45 a.m., the RATT team received information about a carjacking suspect’s vehicle in the 5300 block of Maple Avenue. Officers successfully intercepted and stopped the vehicle, leading to the suspect’s arrest. He had outstanding warrants for carjacking and auto theft in Howard County.

During the arrest, police recovered a stolen vehicle and a firearm reported missing from Baltimore County. The suspect has been taken to Central booking for processing.
