Baltimore County House Explosion: One Injured, Home Destroyed

One person sustained injuries following a house explosion that triggered a two-alarm fire in Essex, as confirmed by officials. Responders were dispatched to the unit block of Ridgemoor Road around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday night after an explosion with a residential fire was reported on the premises.

Fire authorities mentioned that the individual affected was transported to a nearby hospital for a non-life-threatening injuries assessment. Regrettably, the residence was completely obliterated.

Firefighters worked past 1:30 a.m. on Sunday to tackle hot spots and rekindled flames. The cause of the explosion is presently being probed.
