Baltimore County police renew call for tips in 1974 Owings Mills homicide

OWINGS MILLS, MD – Nearly 51 years after the body of Joyce Arcuri was discovered in a wooded area, Baltimore County Police are once again appealing to the public for help in solving her killing.

On the morning of Nov. 8, 1974, Arcuri was found dead off Bonita Avenue in Owings Mills. Her 1966 Chevy was later located parked near The Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore City.

Detectives said friends and family recalled that Arcuri had owed someone money before her death, though no suspect was ever identified.

The case remains open, and police are urging anyone with information to contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP or the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-3943. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
