Baltimore County Woman Arrested For Death of Vulnerable Adult

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Detectives from the Baltimore County Homicide Unit have arrested and charged 34-year-old Brittany Brooks following an investigation into the abuse of a vulnerable adult that resulted in the victim’s death.

Officers from the Woodlawn Precinct responded to a call from medics on the 1400 block of Kirkwood Road, 21207, where they discovered 56-year-old Antoinette Gray in deplorable conditions.

Ms. Gray, who had multiple medical ailments and was under Brooks’ care, was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced deceased on August 15, 2024, due to her injuries. Following an investigation, Brooks was charged with crimes related to the abuse of a vulnerable adult and is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding Ms. Gray’s death.
