Baltimore Girl Shot After Snubbing Man Making a Pass

BALTIMORE, MD – A 17-year-old girl was injured in a shooting incident on West North Avenue on Saturday night, Baltimore police reported.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:18 PM in the 2100 block of West North Avenue. According to preliminary investigations, the situation began inside a local business where the suspect initiated a conversation with the victim. After she and her friends requested to be left alone, the suspect allegedly followed the victim outside and fired a handgun, striking her in the hand.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The police are continuing their investigation into the shooting.
