Baltimore man dies after being struck by vehicle on Belair Road

BALTIMORE, MD — A 47-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street in Baltimore’s Northeast District, authorities said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at approximately 6:26 p.m. in the 4300 block of Belair Road. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Crash Team Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
