Baltimore Man Shot by Girlfriend

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police are investigating a domestic shooting incident that occurred late Friday night in the Northern District. Officers responded around 11:23 PM to the 600 block of Homestead Avenue following a distress call from a woman claiming to have shot a male assailant.

A 53-year-old man later sought treatment for a gunshot wound at a nearby hospital, where police confirmed the injury was non-life-threatening. Preliminary findings suggest the shooter was the man’s domestic partner, who has since been taken into custody. Northern District Shooting detectives are leading the ongoing investigation.
