BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore resident won a $100,000 top prize on a Gold Rush 7s Multiplier scratch-off ticket, thanks to his lucky car key.

The city resident purchased the $10 instant ticket at a 7-Eleven located at 3003 North Charles Street in Baltimore. He scratched off the ticket in the store, revealing a “Lucky 7” symbol on the last line, which led to the $100,000 win.

Accompanied by his wife to claim the prize, the restaurant worker initially believed he had won $10,000. However, the store ticket checker confirmed the prize was indeed $100,000.

The winner is still considering options for enjoying his prize. The 7-Eleven where the ticket was purchased will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
