BALTIMORE, MD— A Baltimore resident has claimed a $50,000 top prize from the Maryland Lottery’s “Lots of Cash” scratch-off game. The $5 ticket, which has been on sale since June, rewarded the player with one of its highest payouts, making him the fourth winner to secure this top prize.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Lowest Price Grocery on Frederick Avenue, where the retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner, who claimed his prize on Monday, expressed a desire to keep his good fortune private, without immediate plans for the windfall. Four more $50,000 prizes and numerous smaller prizes remain available in the popular game.
