Baltimore Police Arrest Man for Handgun and Drug Offenses

BALTIMORE, MD – A routine surveillance operation in Baltimore’s Central District led to the arrest of a man involved in illegal activities.

On Monday afternoon at around 2:15 p.m., Central District BCIC Detectives monitoring CCTV in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue observed a male suspect brandishing a handgun and distributing suspected controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Detectives quickly responded to the scene, where they apprehended a 31-year-old male without incident.

A handgun and suspected CDS were recovered during the arrest. The suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.
