Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect in Attempted Murder

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police have arrested 24-year-old Jamal Dunham in connection with an attempted murder case that occurred earlier this summer. Dunham was taken into custody on August 5, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Detectives believe Dunham is responsible for the June 28 shooting of a 29-year-old male in the 3100 block of Swann Drive. The victim was found with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Dunham has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and additional charges. He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility for processing.
