Baltimore Police Arrest Two for Handgun Violations in Fells Point

Baltimore, MD – In the bustling Fells Point neighborhood, Baltimore police made critical arrests last Friday when detectives on foot patrol spotted handguns in plain view within two vehicles. This resulted in the on-the-spot arrest of two men, aged 38 and 26, one of whom possessed a ghost gun.

This action is part of a larger effort by local law enforcement to curb illegal gun possession. Over the past weekend alone, eight individuals were arrested on handgun violations.

To date, the Baltimore Police Department has seized a total of 1239 firearms this year, including 184 ghost guns, marking a significant crackdown on illegal firearms within the city.
