Baltimore Police Investigate Christmas Eve Morning Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – On December 24, at approximately 10:49 a.m., Baltimore police officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of North Montford Avenue following a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old male with multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

He is currently listed in critical yet stable condition.

Eastern District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation. The Baltimore Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact detectives at 410-396-2433. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
