Baltimore Police Investigate Fatal Daytime Shooting on South Paca Street

BALTIMORE, MD — A fatal shooting occurred on August 21 in the Southern District, prompting an active homicide investigation.

At approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of South Paca Street. Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100.
