Baltimore Police Investigate Late-Night Shooting on Thursday

BALTIMORE, MD – A shooting incident in Baltimore’s Western District late on March 28 has resulted in one man being hospitalized and the arrest of four persons of interest. Baltimore Police Department officials reported the events unfolding just after 11:24 p.m.

While patrolling McCulloh Street, officers heard gunshots emanating from the 1700 block. A gray Acura was seen speeding away from the scene. On arrival, the police found a 42-year-old man inside a silver Honda, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The injured man was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The department’s aviation unit, Foxtrot, tracked the suspected vehicle, leading to Howard County. With the assistance of local law enforcement, four individuals were detained without further incidents, all considered persons of interest in the shooting.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Western District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation. Authorities are calling on anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist by contacting the detectives at 410-396-2477.
