Baltimore police investigating shooting on Greenmount Avenue

BALTIMORE, Md. — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 23-year-old man injured on the evening of September 5, 2024. Around 8:02 p.m., Northern District officers were alerted to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttock. He is currently in stable condition. The victim told police he was in the 1800 block of Greenmount Avenue when the shooting occurred.
