Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Hopkins Plaza Assault and Robbery of Young Girl

BALTIMORE, MD — Central District officers of the Baltimore Police Department swiftly apprehended four suspects involved in an unarmed robbery on Thursday. At approximately 1:30 PM, police were dispatched to the unit block of Hopkins Plaza following a distress call.

Upon their arrival, a 14-year-old girl reported she was physically assaulted and robbed by a group of juveniles after a verbal altercation escalated. The assailants, described as two males and two females, then fled the scene on foot.

Utilizing surveillance footage and additional evidence from the scene, detectives quickly located the fleeing suspects and managed their capture. The group consisted of an 18-year-old female, a 17-year-old female, and two 16-year-old males.

The minors were taken to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, while the adult suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility. Charges were filed in accordance with their involvement in the incident.
