Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Saturday Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department has announced an arrest in the weekend shooting of a man on Glenwood Avenue.

According to police, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a 39-year-old male was shot in the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he received treatment.

“After interviewing prospective witnesses and examining physical evidence, detectives were able to identify the suspect just a day later and obtain an arrest warrant,” police said.

On August 30, 2022, at 7:15 a.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 37-year-old Isaac Baylis, Jr., in the 300 block of W. Fayette Street without incident.

Baylis was transported to Central Booking, where he has been charged with 1st Degree Attempted Murder and various handgun violations.
