Baltimore Police Make Drug Arrest in Northwestern District

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Police Department reported a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) arrest in the Northwestern District on August 9, 2024. Northwest District Patrol officers were called to the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road at approximately 11:39 a.m. following a report of suspected drug activity.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 53-year-old male in possession of what appeared to be illegal drugs. A subsequent search by a K-9 unit confirmed the presence of more suspected CDS in the individual’s vehicle. The suspect was then arrested and transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.

The Baltimore Police Department continues its efforts to combat drug-related offenses within the city. Further details on the charges and the amount of CDS recovered are pending as the investigation continues.
