Baltimore police nab carjacking suspect caught exiting stolen vehicle

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 27-year-old male was arrested without incident after being found in possession of a carjacked vehicle in Baltimore’s Eastern District on Thursday morning.

At approximately 11:04 a.m., Eastern District BCIC officers received an alert from a license plate reader (LPR) regarding a vehicle reported stolen in a recent carjacking. Officers quickly responded to the 2400 block of East Biddle Street, where they observed the suspect exiting the vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing.

The investigation into the carjacking remains ongoing as authorities work to determine additional details related to the case.
