Baltimore Police On Patrol Hear Gunshots, Find Woman Victim

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A woman was grazed by a bullet in Central Baltimore this morning. Police are actively investigating the incident.

Shortly before 10:00 a.m. Baltimore police officers, while patrolling the 400 block of West Pratt Street, responded to what they believed was gunfire. Their search led to the discovery of a 41-year-old woman with a minor gunshot wound. She was promptly taken to a hospital for medical attention.

In connection with the shooting, officers have identified a person of interest on Waterview Avenue. Central District detectives are now calling for public assistance in the case. Tips can be directed to 410-396-2411 or anonymously through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
