Baltimore Police Respond After Hearing Gunshots, One Person Found Dead

BALTIMORE, MD – An unidentified male victim was found shot on Wilkens Avenue Thursday in Baltimore. He later died at the hospital, according to police.

“At approximately 4:58 p.m., Southern District patrol officers were in the 1900 block of Wilkens Avenue when they heard several gunshots,” Baltimore police reported today. “Officers canvased the area and located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1900 block of Ramsey Street.”

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
