Baltimore Police Seize Firearms and Drugs in Western District Arrests

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore Police announced the arrest of two men following a search and seizure operation conducted by a Western District DAT detective.

The operation took place on Thursday afternoon in the 1800 block of West Lafayette Avenue, where police recovered multiple firearms and a significant amount of drugs.

Detectives seized two loaded semiautomatic rifles, an AK47 and a DTI 5.56 caliber, a fully automatic MAC 11 with an extended magazine and drum, and a Glock 43 9mm.

Additionally, they found a compressed brick of suspected cocaine, as well as substantial quantities of suspected heroin gel caps, raw heroin, crack cocaine, and marijuana. The suspects, a 56-year-old male and a 30-year-old male, were transported to CBIF for processing.
