Baltimore Police Seize Guns and Drugs in Western District Arrest

BALTIMORE, MD — On April 18, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., members of the Western District Action Team responded to a call regarding an armed individual at the intersection of North Monroe Street and Edmondson Avenue. Upon arrival, detectives conducted a search of a pickup truck linked to the incident and discovered an array of illegal items.

The haul included multiple firearms, a significant quantity of drugs, ammunition, and a sum of U.S. currency. Following the search, two males, aged 32 and 33, were arrested at the scene. They were subsequently transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where they faced charges related to the possession of handguns and controlled dangerous substances (CDS).

This operation underscores the ongoing efforts of Baltimore police to combat gun violence and drug trafficking within the city.
