Baltimore Police Shoot At Drive of Vehicle Attempting to Ram Officers

BALTIMORE, MD – On October 8, an officer-involved shooting took place in the Eastern District, following reports of an armed individual on E. North Avenue. Officers attempted to apprehend the suspect on the 1900 block of Aisquith Street. During the encounter, the suspect reportedly used his vehicle to strike an officer, leading the officer to discharge his firearm.

The suspect was not injured by the gunfire.

The following day, authorities apprehended 25-year-old Willie Millings in the vicinity of Holbrook Street and Ensor Street. Millings faces two charges of Assault on a Police Officer and is presently detained at the Central Booking Intake Facility without bail. The injured officer was transported to a local hospital for medical attention.

The suspect declined any medical treatment at the scene.
