Baltimore shooting leaves one man dead

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 37-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon in Southeast Baltimore, prompting a homicide investigation, police announced.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on February 2, Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Biddle Street after receiving shot-spotter alerts. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by medical staff.
