Baltimore shooting leaves one man dead

BALTIMORE, MD — A fatal shooting on Sunday night in the 1500 block of Carswell Street has left one man dead, prompting an active investigation by Eastern District detectives.

Officers arrived at the scene around 9:02 p.m. and found an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are working to gather more details surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
