Baltimore Teen Arrested with Stolen Car and Firearm

In a proactive operation on April 10, Detectives from the Northeast District of the Baltimore Police Department apprehended a 17-year-old male suspect involved in auto theft and illegal possession of a firearm. The incident unfolded around 5:30 p.m. in the 6600 block of Harford Road, where the suspect, initially identified due to behavior suggesting he was armed, fled in a stolen vehicle into Baltimore County.

The pursuit intensified in the 2500 block of Hillford Road, Baltimore County, where local police joined the chase. The suspect eventually abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but was swiftly captured by officers. Upon his arrest, authorities recovered a firearm, adding to the gravity of his charges.

Facing serious charges as an adult, the suspect has been transferred to the Central Booking and Intake Facility (CBIF) for processing. The Baltimore Police Department has reiterated their commitment to public safety and the importance of community vigilance in their ongoing efforts to combat crime.
