Teen wounded in daytime Baltimore shooting as police search for answers
BALTIMORE, Md. — Police are investigating a daytime shooting that left a 17-year-old injured Tuesday afternoon in West Baltimore.
Officers responded around 2:09 p.m. on March 3 to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Westwood Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the victim was conscious and breathing at the scene.
Officers immediately rendered aid until medics arrived. The teen was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The shooting is currently under investigation by Western District shooting detectives.
