Baltimore Waitress Wins $50K on Scratch-Off

Lottery scratch off tickets for sale

BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore County waitress has won a $50,000 top prize on a Gold Rush 7s Tripler scratch-off ticket during a quiet moment at work.

The winner, a Woodlawn resident, was playing tickets that her son had purchased for her from the Beer-Wine-Liquor Depot in Catonsville.

The surprise win came when she matched a number on the $5 scratch-off, but she kept her excitement in check until her shift ended. The winner and her son, who often purchase lottery tickets together, were thrilled to celebrate the prize at home. She plans to continue letting her son choose their future tickets.
