BALTIMORE, MD – A Baltimore woman won a $248,208 progressive jackpot on the Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY Casino Royale Slots game after deciding to switch from her usual favorite.

The professional caregiver had played Mega Multiplier regularly but, after a losing ticket, decided to try Casino Royale Slots at Hunt Valley Exxon in Cockeysville. The choice paid off when her ticket revealed the game’s top prize.

The progressive jackpot grew with each non-winning ticket purchase, reaching $248,208 by the time she won. After reviewing her ticket at home, she confirmed she had hit the jackpot-winning combination.

The winner said the prize will allow her to become debt-free and secure a comfortable retirement. Hunt Valley Exxon, located at 11235 York Road, received a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
