ORTLEY BEACH, NJ – With summer just around the corner, preparations are underway for the upcoming season at Ortley Beach. The first step is repairing the beach, and Earle Asphalt Company has been awarded the contract for the job at a cost of approximately $300K.

According to the township, the mild winter left a surplus in the snow removal account, which will be utilized to cover the cost of the beach repair project without any impact on taxes.

The work being performed by Earle Asphalt Company will be essential to ensure that Ortley Beach is in good condition for beachgoers.

Beach repairs are an important part of maintaining the safety and aesthetics of the beach, and are necessary to prevent erosion and other potential hazards.

Since Superstorm Sandy in 2012, Ortley Beach has been hit hard by beach erosion annually.
